2. Product Purpose

Zendio is a browser extension for saving user-selected web content, reading notes, video timestamp notes, screenshots, and AI chat exports into user-configured personal knowledge workflows.

3. Local-First Workflow

Zendio is designed to save content into destinations you configure, such as Obsidian vaults, local folders, downloads, or local Obsidian REST API endpoints. You control the destinations and credentials you authorize.

4. User Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use Zendio and for the content, accounts, sites, and destinations involved in your workflows, including:

  • Making sure you have the right to save, export, quote, or reuse the content you clip or annotate.
  • Verifying vault paths, local folder permissions, routing rules, templates, YAML fields, and exported files before relying on them.
  • Following the terms of websites, AI services, video platforms, Obsidian plugins, and browser stores that you use with Zendio.
  • Protecting your Obsidian REST API token, browser profile, vault folders, and any exported files or shared notes.

6. Privacy and Optional Telemetry

Zendio is local-first by default. Optional analytics and error diagnostics can be enabled or disabled independently. The Privacy Policy explains what data is processed locally, what telemetry may send when enabled, and how to clear or revoke data.

7. Availability and Changes

Zendio is provided as an evolving personal productivity tool. Features may change, break, be removed, or depend on browser, website, Obsidian, or platform behavior outside the developer’s control.

8. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

Zendio is provided as is, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for lost data, failed exports, service interruptions, site changes, token misuse, or decisions made based on exported content.

9. Updates and Termination

You may stop using Zendio at any time by disabling or uninstalling it. The developer may update these terms when product behavior, distribution channels, or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
